Yes. Mappamory is available on the App Store for iPhone and requires iOS 17.0 or later.

Free supports up to 15 people and 30 records. Plus currently unlocks unlimited people and records. Features still in development are not promised as current purchase benefits.

A record connects one or more people to one place and can use either a point date or date range. Add tags, a title, notes, and photos when useful.

During creation, keep the people together in one shared record or choose separate records for each person. A shared record is not automatically split after saving.

No. Contact import uses Apple’s system contact picker. Mappamory receives only the contacts you explicitly select and lets you review them before saving.

No. The map shows places you deliberately saved in records. It does not show live friend locations or record anyone’s movement history.

Choose directly on the map, search, deliberately use current location, or import a supported Apple Maps or Amap link. Mappamory does not continuously track location in the background.

Return from People or Map, use search, or filter the map by people, date, and record tags.

Mappamory does not upload your people, records, photos, notes, or tags to Mappamory-owned servers. Place search, geocoding, current location, and purchases may use Apple system services.

No. Photo import uses Apple’s system picker, so Mappamory can read only the photos you choose. Camera access is used only when you take an avatar or record photo.

A full .fabackup can include people, records, tags, links, record photos, avatars, and place images. A data-only backup skips record photos but may retain avatars and place images.

Apple App Store and StoreKit handle purchases, subscriptions, refunds, and payment information. Mappamory reads only whether Plus is active so it can open the related limits.
